WHAT:
The annual Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) Blue Diamond Gala is returning for the eighth time at Dodger Stadium on Thursday, May 2, 2024. The gala, deemed ‘The Party For LA’, is presented by the Los Angeles Dodgers Ownership Group.
The evening kicks off with a star-studded blue carpet and pre-show party followed by two hours of entertainment, emceed by Dodgers Host Kirsten Watson, including a DJ set by 8x Grammy award-winning artist Anderson .Paak, performing as DJ Pee .Wee. The night concludes with a private concert from 4x Grammy award-winning global superstar Ed Sheeran and post-show party food trucks. In addition to the live performances, special guests will include Dodger players, coaches, alumni, broadcasters, and special guests.
Proceeds from the evening will benefit LADF as it tackles the most pressing problems facing Los Angeles with a mission to improve education, health care, homelessness, and social justice for all Angelenos. In the last ten years, LADF fostered a community ecosystem that grew to be bigger than baseball. Now, the organization enters its next phase of evolution and launches a new Strategic Plan: Lasting Impact for Los Angeles, which builds upon its successes by amplifying best practices, scaling solutions to reach more Angelenos, growing its capacity, and refining its work to create a lasting impact for Los Angeles.
